Welcome to Ebb & Flo Living. Each piece is designed and made with intention, care and attention to detail. These Terms & Conditions help ensure clarity and fairness for both you and us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the terms below (last updated 30.10.2025)

T&C's

1. Handmade Nature & Product Variation

All jewellery is handmade. This means:

  • Small variations in texture, finish and form are natural and intentional
  • Gemstones may vary slightly in tone, pattern and character
  • Dimensions may vary slightly due to the hand-crafting process

These variations are not faults, they are part of the unique nature of handcrafted jewellery.

We do our best to present accurate photos and descriptions, but colour and scale may appear differently due to lighting and screen settings.

2. Jewellery Care

To protect your jewellery and maintain its finish, we advise:

  • Remove before exercising, sleeping or swimming
  • Avoid contact with fragrances, lotions, cosmetics and chemicals
  • Do not slide charms along chains (this causes friction wear)
  • Store pieces separately to avoid scratches
  • Clean exposed stones with warm soapy water and a soft brush

Natural skin oils or pH may occasionally darken silver; this can be removed with a soft polishing cloth.

Damage caused by wear, impact, misuse, chemicals or lack of care is not covered under warranty.

3. Warranty

We offer a 12-month warranty on jewellery for manufacturing defects under normal use.

This includes:

  • Faulty clasps or findings
  • Solder joint failures
  • Metal defects

This does not include:

  • Wear & tear
  • Scratches, dents, knocks or cracked gemstones
  • Tarnish
  • Damage due to improper care or chemicals
  • Lost jewellery or lost stones due to impact or misuse

Warranty process

  • Customer returns item at their cost
  • If a fault is confirmed, we repair or replace the item
  • Return postage to the customer is covered by us

After the warranty period, repairs may be available as a paid service.

4. Returns & Exchanges

Eligibility

You may return unworn, unused items in original condition within 30 days for a refund.

We do not offer credit notes.

The customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

Exclusions

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom, personalised or made-to-order items
  • Resized or modified items
  • Earrings (hygiene)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items
  • Pre-orders

Exchange Policy

Exchanges may be made within 30 days if:

  • Item has not been worn
  • Returned in original packaging and condition

If the exchange item is higher in value, the difference must be paid.

If lower, the balance will be refunded to the original payment method.

5. Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing issue:

  • Contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • We will assess the piece and repair, replace, or refund if fault is confirmed

Damage from wear, impact or misuse is not classified as a manufacturing fault.

6. Bespoke, Personalised & Adjusted Pieces

Custom pieces, personalised items, resized or modified jewellery cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded.

7. Lead Times

Jewellery is handmade to order.

  • Standard fulfilment: 2–4 working days
  • Custom/resizing: up to 10 working days

If you need an order urgently, please contact us before purchasing and we’ll do our best to help.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped using Evri and/or Royal Mail.

Delivery Timeframes

Delivery time depends on the service selected at checkout.

Delayed / Lost Parcels

Once dispatched, responsibility for delivery lies with the courier.

If a parcel is delayed or lost, we will support you in the courier claim process, however we are not liable for courier delays or loss.

Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for entering correct delivery information.

We cannot replace or refund orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

10. Ethical Sourcing

We use recycled precious metals sourced from Cookson Gold who certify recycled content.

Our gemstones are sourced from suppliers who state they follow ethical and responsible sourcing practices. We rely on the due diligence and declarations of our suppliers.

We continually seek sustainable and ethical materials and practices.

11. Pricing & Payment

Prices may change without notice.

If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.

12. No Liability for External Events

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by events beyond our control (e.g. strikes, pandemics, courier disruption, weather events, supply delays).

13. Gift Cards
  • Valid for 12 months
  • Non-refundable and non-exchangeable
  • Expired cards cannot be extended
14. Welcome Discount

Our welcome discount is available to first-time customers who join our email newsletter.

  • One use per customer
  • Not valid on sale items, custom orders, pre-orders or gift cards
  • Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts
  • Must be applied at checkout at time of purchase
  • Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash
  • We reserve the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time

15. User Generated Content (UGC)

By submitting content to Ebb & Flo Living (including photos, videos, written reviews, voice notes or any other media), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms:

1. Permission to Use Your Content

By sending or tagging us in content, you grant Ebb & Flo Living a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to:

  • Use, display, store, share, publish and distribute your content
  • Modify, edit, crop or adapt your content (while honouring its original meaning)
  • Use your name, likeness, voice and any accompanying text/testimonial

This includes use across:

  • Website & blog
  • Email marketing
  • Social media platforms
  • Advertisements and paid promotions
  • Press & PR features
  • Printed materials

You understand that your content may appear in paid advertising.

2. Content Quality Requirements

To receive the £25 voucher incentive, all submitted content must meet our quality and usability standards. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Clear, stable footage with good lighting
  • Visible jewellery details
  • Good sound quality (where voice is included)
  • Resolution suitable for social media and advertising use
  • No heavy filters or distortions unless agreed in advance
  • Content that aligns with our brand style and tone
  • Blurry, dark or low-resolution


Ebb & Flo Living reserves the right to decline incentive rewards for content that is:

  • Unclear, out of frame or poorly lit
  • Shaky or unstable
  • Unable to be used due to noise/interference
  • Not compliant with our guidelines or brief
  • Otherwise unsuitable for marketing or advertising use

Approval of content is at the sole discretion of Ebb & Flo Living.

Content must be accepted as usable before a voucher is issued.

3. Ownership & Consent

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You created the content or have written permission to submit it
  • You own all rights to the content
  • Anyone visible in the content has given permission for their image to be used
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • If children appear in any content, written parental/guardian consent is required.

4. Data & Privacy

By submitting content, you consent to us using:

  • Your image and likeness
  • Your voice or written words
  • Your social media handle or first name (where appropriate)
  • This will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.

5. Compensation

As a thank-you, approved UGC submissions may receive a £25 Ebb & Flo Living voucher.

Voucher terms:

  • Issued after content is received and approved
  • Valid for 30 days from issue date
  • Not exchangeable for cash
  • One voucher per approved submission (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to decline content if it does not align with our brand values, quality standards or usage needs.

6. Removal Requests

You may request that we stop using your content in future posts.

While we will do our best to accommodate requests, please note:

  • We cannot remove content already used in printed materials or paid advertising in circulation
  • Content already published may remain on our platforms unless removal is required for legal reasons

7. No Harmful Content

Content must not include:

Offensive, harmful or inappropriate imagery or language

Third-party trademarks or copyrighted material without permission

Content promoting competing jewellery brands

8. Limitation of Liability

By submitting content, you agree to release Ebb & Flo Living from any claims relating to:

  • Use of your content
  • Editing or adaptation of your content
  • Public distribution of your content
  • The governing law of these terms is that of England & Wales.

9. Agreement

By submitting your content via email, social media, tagging, uploading, or by responding to our request with #YesEbbAndFlo (or equivalent wording), you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and understood these terms
  • Agree to grant Ebb & Flo Living the rights described above
  • Confirm your content complies with all applicable laws and permissions

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English & Welsh law.
