Some pieces arrive quietly at first, and then stay with you.
These two one-of-a-kind Aquamarine Signet Rings are exactly that, handmade slowly in recycled sterling silver, each set with a natural aquamarine chosen for its character, colour, and the calming energy it carries.
I’ve always been drawn to blue, the sea, the sky, the places where the horizon softens and everything feels a little clearer. Growing up by the coast, that sense of calm, clarity, and steady courage has always come from water, so creating with Aquamarine feels familiar, like working with a stone that holds the same quiet strength as the sea itself.
These rings began with that idea, calm for the mind, grounding for the body, and courage for the soul.
The Meaning of an Aquamarine Ring
One of the questions people ask most is, “What does the Aquamarine ring mean?” Traditionally known as the stone of the sea, Aquamarine symbolises calm, easing stress and softening the mind, clarity, helping you see things honestly from a grounded place, courage, especially around expression and speaking your truth, and flow, the ability to move with, rather than against, life’s tides.
The Stones, Natural, Textured, and Completely Unique
These Aquamarines are natural, not heat-treated or enhanced, which means they hold tiny inclusions, subtle cloudiness, and delicate shifts in colour, all the things that give a stone personality.
For me, that “perfect imperfection” is everything. It mirrors nature as it really is, real, raw, and quietly beautiful.
No two Aquamarines look the same, and these two rings will never be replicated. If one speaks to you, trust that.
The Rings, Rugged, Textural, Inspired by Nature
Each ring is hand-forged with a rugged, organic texture, no perfectly polished surfaces, no mass-produced symmetry.
The silver holds the markings of its making, soft dents, subtle grain, the kind of surface shaped by fire and hand, not machinery.
I love creating pieces that feel lived-in from the start, pieces that mirror natural textures like stone, sand, weathered wood, cliff edges, and tide-shaped metal. These rings carry that story.
What Finger Should You Wear an Aquamarine Ring On?
Another question I’m often asked is, “What finger should I wear an Aquamarine ring on?”
Truthfully, there are no rules.
Traditionally, Aquamarine is worn on the middle or index finger for clarity and communication, or on the ring finger for emotional calm and connection.
But I believe jewellery should follow intuition, not instruction. Wear it where it feels right, where it feels like you.
Why These Rings Are So Rare
Here’s the truth, I only have two Aquamarine Signet Rings.
One in size M, and one in size O.
The stones are one of a kind.
The setting is hand built.
The texture cannot be replicated in exactly the same way.
And the stones’ natural markings make them completely irreplaceable.
Once these two find their homes, they are gone. I will not be able to recreate them. If you feel drawn to them, there is usually a reason.
Maker’s Note
Working with natural Aquamarine always brings me back to why I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces. No two stones behave the same. Each one carries its own markings, its own tone, its own quiet history, and my role is simply to shape a setting that lets it be exactly what it is.
These two stones arrived with such distinct personalities that they instantly felt like they belonged in signet rings. There is something about the contrast, the rugged silver against the clarity of the blue, that feels honest, nothing perfect, nothing overly polished, just materials meeting in their truest form.
I kept the texture intentionally raw, not to look rustic, but to feel lived-in, like something shaped by time, tide, and touch, the kind of surface that becomes even better the more it is worn.
I don’t know where these rings will end up, but I always love that part, the moment a piece finds the person it is meant for. And with Aquamarine, that usually happens quietly and intuitively. People don’t choose these stones with logic, they choose them because something in the colour, the energy, or the feeling simply clicks.
If one does that for you, trust it.
