Use a flexible measuring tape (or a strip of paper/string) to wrap around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, and mark where it overlaps. If using a string or paper, lay it flat against a ruler to get the measurement. This gives your wrist circumference. For a comfortable fit, it’s recommended to add a little extra (about 0.5–1 cm) to your wrist measurement when choosing a bracelet size.
Most adjustable bracelets use a sliding mechanism to fit different wrist sizes. Many have sliding knots or a sliding bead you pull closer to tighten or pull apart to loosen. Some use extender chains or clasps with multiple loops. Adjustable ball chain bracelets often come extra-long and can be trimmed down to your ideal length by cutting off the excess chain.
