Product Story

Faith | Hope | Devotion

The cross is one of the most recognised symbols of faith, worn for generations as something deeply personal to the person carrying it.

For some, it represents faith and devotion. For others, hope, protection, or simply a connection to something bigger than ourselves.

Handcrafted in recycled sterling silver, the cross is textured on both sides. The front is gently tapered, inspired by the grain of worn wood, while the reverse is rougher and more weathered, almost like an artefact shaped by time.

Wear it as an expression of faith. Wear it for what it means to you. Wear it close.

Materials + Care

Handmade in the UK from 100% recycled sterling silver, chosen for both its beauty and sustainability.

Silver naturally develops a patina over time, part of its character, but with the right care it will last for years. To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and water, and store in a dry place between wears.

For detailed tips, read our full Jewellery Care & Cleaning Guide.

When this piece is chosen...

Faith is personal.

For some, a cross is an outward expression of Christian faith. Something worn to church, through prayer, and as part of everyday life. A familiar symbol kept close.

It can carry more than one meaning.

Faith. Hope. Devotion. Remembrance. Sometimes a cross necklace is chosen because of what it represents within Christianity. Sometimes the meaning is more personal, connected to someone, somewhere, or something the wearer wants to carry with them.

Some symbols don't need explaining.

The cross has been worn for generations, but what it means to the person wearing it is their own. It might be a visible expression of belief or something much quieter. Either way, it is chosen because the symbol already holds meaning.

Absolutely stunning necklace at an incredible price

Absolutely stunning necklace at an incredible price. I’d asked Toni to design me a cross and I couldn’t be happier with it. The cross it’s self is lovely and thick, honestly it’s absolutely stunning, you will not be disappointed with this: I think I’ll buy another for my daughter & I’ll be telling everyone at kings Baptist church where I got it from. Thank you so much Toni xx

About this piece...

What does a cross necklace symbolise?

The cross is most widely recognised as a symbol of Christianity and is often worn as an expression of faith and devotion. It can also carry deeply personal associations with hope, remembrance, protection and connection.

Why do people wear cross necklaces?

For many people, wearing a cross necklace is a way of keeping their faith physically close. It may be worn every day, to church, during prayer, or through particular periods of life. Others choose a cross because of a personal or family connection to the symbol.

Can you wear a cross necklace if you're not religious?

Absolutely, even though a cross is regarded as a symbol of Christian faith, and that significance is worth respecting. People may also feel connected to a cross through family, heritage, remembrance or their own personal relationship with the symbol. Ultimately, the meaning behind wearing one belongs to the person carrying it.
